Legal & General America approached Cody to write and produce a CTV spot that would differentiate them from their competitors. They didn’t want the commercial to look like the “usual” life insurance ad. Hearing this, Cody took a unique approach to development and production, stylistically treating the spot like a documentary. He hired a real family and observed their real routine to provide the piece an air of sincerity without the hokeyness.
